a lifeboat station since 1992 when it was
reinstated by the RNLI.
The town currenty has two inshore lifeboats, an Atlantic class called 'Alan and Margaret' and D class called 'Ollie Naismith' housed in a boathouse on Looe seafront.
SAFETY AT SEA
There will be a stall at the RNLI during the Festival of the Sea where you can talk to trained and experience RNLI members about safety at sea.
They will also be running a Life Jacket Check, where you can have your Life Jacket check to make sure that it is seaworthy .
